QUICK RECOVERY
In the morning
I arise and all of my ailments have gone. Dave, my roommate, makes note
that I don't sound like I'm in pain anymore, which I take to be a good
thing. Tenpa had been on the phone the night before with the hospital
in Gyantse, who were ready to admit me if my fever didn't break.
We begin the day with a visit to the Rabse
Nunnery.
It is noticeably cleaner than the monasteries we have visited. We have
a brief tour and
then meditate in their small hall. The day before we visited a farm house.
Somehow I was able to take some photos,
though I don't recall much of the experience.
More photos snapped in
transit
to
Tsedang. We take a slight detour up a windy mountain road to view Yamdrok-tso,
a beautiful lake that runs a deep shade of turquoise.
A man there wants me to take (and pay for) a photo of his dog wearing
a feather boa, but I resist.
Day ends with water
