Before heading to Tibet, I thought it would be a good idea to go digital,
so I picked up a Fuji FinePix S9000. The intent was for this to be a
transitional camera soon to be replaced by a digital SLR, but I so loved it that I couldn't imagine
replacing it any time soon. All of the photos between 2006 and 2010 were taken with this camera.
After traveling with me to five continents and thirty countries, I figured it was time to retire my loyal Fuji camera. It's replacement: the new Nikon D7000 digital SLR. While my Fuji had a fixed lens (28-300mm), this time I'm traveling with three lenses: wide-angle (15-30mm), mid-range (28-150mm), and telephoto (80-450mm). I began using this camera in 2011, though a few photos taken with my iPhone sneak in now and again.
